Unique Golfing Offer

The very unique feature of Penina is that up to four occupants per apartment can enjoy a free daily round of golf on the championship course during the duration of their stay (handicap certs are required). Thus, for example, a ladies or gents fourball could occupy a 2/3 bedroom unit plus daily golf at less than £200 per person per week. In addition there is an excellent full length 9 hole course within the complex and again occupants can avail of a free nine holes daily in addition to their entitlement on the championship course. Finally, for beginners and the kids there is a picturesque and very relaxed 9-hole par three at your disposal.

Apartments

Penina is a unique development of 24 condominium style apartments located on the Algarve in Portugal. They are located in the grounds of the renowned Penina Meridien 5 star hotel and overlook the signature 13th hole of the Henry Cotton designed Penina Championship Golf Course, which hosted the Portugese Open on several occasions. The condominiums consist of two blocks of 12 units set in generous well maintained gardens and residents enjoy the exclusive use of the safe swimming pool and pool area which is fully furnished with parasols and sun loungers.

10 of the 24 condominiums are privately owned and the remaining 14 are divided in time share. These 14 consist of two and three bedroom units, each with separate entrances and most with their own garage. All are fully furnished to a high standard and come equipped with fridge, washing machines and dishwasher. Each has its own spacious balcony which is not overlooked and is ideal for out door eating and BBQ's (BBQ equipment is standard).

Location

Penina itself is located 60kms due west of Faro airport (approx. 40mins by car). The fishing port of Portimao is 5kms East and the charming resort of Lagos is situated 16kms to the west. 5kms to the south is the lovely seaside village of Alvor, boasting some of the cleanest and safest beaches in Portugal. Alvor is also home to a huge variety of inexpensive but excellent and friendly restaurants.
